myPass is a secure self-service website for Alberta high school students to access their education information.

Use myPass to:

  • Order transcripts
  • Register for diploma exams
  • View diploma exam results
  • View progress towards a credential (diploma or certificate)
  • View student personal information
  • View and print detailed academic reports (DAR)
  • Order additional copies of a credential

myPass Student Access

To access myPass, you must have:

  • An Alberta Student Number (ASN)
  • A personal email address
  • A correct mailing address on file with Alberta Education

To sign up for myPass:

  1. Go to myPass.alberta.ca.
     
  2. Enter a personal email address (do not use psdblogs.ca) and select "I'm new, sign me up."
     
  3. You will receive an email with a confirmation link.
     
  4. Click on the confirmation link provided and enter a screen name and password. On the next screen, enter your ASN, and your date of birth, then select "I am the student."* Scroll down and click "Activate Connection."

*Parents follow the same steps for access, but select "I am the Parent/Guardian."

myPass Parent Access

Third parties (including parents and legal guardians) may be granted access to a student’s myPass account online.

To access your student's myPass account:

  1. Go to myPass.alberta.ca.
     
  2. Set up an Education Account, or sign in with your social media login.
     
  3. Enter the student’s Alberta Student Number and date of birth.
     
  4. Watch your inbox for an email with a URL.
     
  5. Tell your student to watch their mailbox for a physical letter with a four-digit PIN.
     
  6. Once you have received the email and the student has received the letter, go to the URL contained in the email and enter the four-digit PIN.
