Information Processing 1
In this beginner level course, students can gain experience in a wide range of technological learning opportunities.
At the beginner level, modules are mostly related to gaining technical abilities in Microsoft Office programs. Alice programming modules are also available for the more advanced student.
Information Processing 2
Prerequisite: Information Processing 1 (minimum of 5 credits)
In this intermediate level course, students can experience a wide range of technological learning opportunities with modules ranging from Microsoft Office programs to web design and Alice programming.
Module work will be based primarily on the creation, development and completion of student projects.
Information Processing 3
Prerequisite: Information Processing 2 (minimum of 5 credits)
In this advanced level course, students will gain in-depth experience on how a computer functions.
Modules range from investigations into different hardware and software to simple binary programming and basic introductions into the computer sciences. Module work will be based primarily on the creation, development and completion of student projects.
